Overview
Prodigy Gold has been active over the last few years in findingpartners for non-core assets and reducing its holding costs. Thishas involved several significant changes to the tenement holdingsincluding;
- Sale of Reynolds Range Project to iTech Energy (ASX:ITM) in2024
- Cash and 1% NSR royalty
- Joint Venture of Barrow Creek Project with AustralasianMetals (ASX:A8G) in 2022
- Free carried 10% interest in the project
- Relinquishment of North Arunta titles in 2023
Reynolds Range Royalty Interest – iTech Energy (ASX:ITM)

Reynolds Range Royalty Interest
Announced in February 2024¹, Prodigy Gold sold its Reynolds Range Projectto iTech Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of iTech Minerals Ltd (ASX: ITM).
The project consisted of 3 granted exploration titles located approximately90km to the north Alice Springs.
The sales process is complete with all titles now transferred to iTech Energy.
Consideration for the sale included:
- Cash consideration of $100,000
- 1% Net Smelter Return (NSR) Royalty of 1% for any mineral or metallicproduct recovered from the project are (excluding graphite).
iTech drilled the Scimitar Prospect in early 2025 and signed a farm-inagreement with Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile (SQM) for all aspectsrelating to lithium exploration and development of the Project.
Barrow Creek JV
Announced in January 2022¹, Prodigy Gold entered into a joint venture agreement with Australasian Metals (ASX: A8G) for its Barrow Creek Project where they purchased a 90% joint venture interest.
The Project consisted of 5 granted exploration titles located approximately280km to the north Alice Springs.
In early 2025, Australasian Metals made the decision to reduce the size of the project and relinquished three of the titles. The remaining two titles contain the most prospective tenure.
Consideration for the sale included:
- Cash consideration of $150,000
- Prodigy Gold’s 10% interest will be free-carried until completion of a pre-feasibility study (PFS) with an NPV exceeding $100 million.
- Following completion of the PFS, Prodigy Gold will have the ability to elect to convert their 10% interest into a 1% net smelter royalty over the project, or pro-rata fund their interest in the project.
